O Tino Restaurant is a family-run celebration of Portuguese heritage and authentic cuisine. Founded by Tino and Elizabeth—whose journeys spanned Angola, Madeira, and Portugal—the restaurant brings together generations of love, tradition, and culinary passion.
The family’s first restaurant in Almada, Portugal, eventually led them to the UK, where they took over a Camden eatery in 2009, infusing it with Elizabeth’s traditional recipes and warm hospitality. Despite challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and Tino’s serious illness, the next generation, Pedro and Denise, have carried forward the family legacy with dedication.
Today, O Tino blends timeless Portuguese flavours with a refreshed, inviting space, offering guests an experience of resilience, unity, and generations of culinary expertise in every dish.
